The Emerson Pant & Short Pattern is pull-on crop pants or shorts with an elasticated back and a flattering front waistband. Design options A and B are mid-rise just below the natural waistline, and design options C and D are high-rise over the belly button. All designs have pleats on the front and side pockets. Options A and C are cropped, wide-legged pants falling slightly above the ankle. Options B and D are shorts with an approximate 4-inch inseam. The Emerson Pant & Short Pattern includes a size chart with fabric requirements and can be made in sizes 0-18. This pattern is recommended for advanced beginner sewists.
